Chapter 44 (Wedding Decorating)

"Winnie…Winnie… Winnie it's time to wake up", Criss shook her gently.

Winnie moaned, "What?"

"Before we fell asleep last night you told me to wake you up".

Winnie rubbed her eyes, "Oh yeah, Good morning".

Criss smiled, "Good morning".

"What's on the agenda?"

"Same old, same old".

Winnie moaned, "Sounds fun".

"Oh it is, if I'm a good boy and do what I'm told I get a cookie". Winnie started to laugh almost uncontrollably at Criss' tone. Criss gave Winnie a kiss on the lips and winked, "Later sexy".

"Later love of my life", Winnie kissed him back just before he left.

Winnie took a quick shower before getting dressed and checking on Arista who thank God didn't seem to have a fever anymore. Just as she was walking out of Arista's room she heard a knock at the door. "Good morning Dimitra".

"Good morning Winnie", Dimitra said as she walked in.

"I just want to thank you for watching her today".

"Oh it's no problem, now you go do what you need to do".

"Ok well she isn't running a fever right now, we have some fluids in the fridge, she can eat soup and that is in the cupboard, and here is her pain medicine if she starts to complain you are supposed to give her one tablet, but you can only do that every four hours".

"Ok".

"I just can't thank you enough for this".

"I said it was no problem, now go".

Winnie gave her a hug before she grabbed her purse and headed out the door on the phone to Lindsay. Winnie met Lindsay outside of the tower and walked to the production office.

"So what's this guy like?"

"You will see when you meet him".

"Would you at least tell me his name?"

"No".

"Tell me his name or I'll flog you".

"Alright his name is George".

"Well what does he look like?"

"Why don't you see for yourself?" Winnie pointed through the glass.

Lindsay stood there just staring at him through the glass, when she leaned towards Winnie, "Thank you so much".

"Your welcome", Winnie grabbed the door handle.

"Morning ladies", Criss walked up to the girls and gave them both a bear hug. "What are you girls doing here you were supposed to be at the theater".

Winnie whispered, "I want to introduce Lindsay and George".

"Hey George looks who's here", Criss hollered.

"Hey Winnie", George walked up and gave her a hug.

"Hey George".

"So how is the wedding planning going?"

"It's coming along fabulously, but thank God for Maids of Honor. This is Lindsay".

George looked at Lindsay and smiled, "Nice to meet you".

Lindsay took his hand, "Nice to meet you too".

"So me and Lindsay were thinking about going to Tender for lunch, would you two like to join us?"

Criss wrapped his arm around Winnie's neck and gave her a kiss on the cheek, "I most defiantly would".

"Count me in". George was still looking at Lindsay.

"Alright well we have to go", Winnie walked towards the door when she noticed that Lindsay was still standing there looking at George, so she walked back. "Lindsay sweetie the door is this way".

They checked out the theater and decided on what to put and where to put it. They decided to do something semi traditional, by lining the isles with flowers. But instead of putting flowers they substituted with lavender scented candles. The girls went to the florist to place the order for the red and white roses that were to be placed at the beginning and end of the isles. They then went to a local candle store where they found the perfect candles and candle holders. This all happened faster then Winnie had anticipated and now that it was all over all that they could do was go meet the boys for lunch (which Lindsay couldn't wait for, for obvious reasons) and head back to the suite.

Chapter 46 (One last night)

It's the night before the wedding the food was paid for, the cake was perfect, and everything was decorated for the 7 p.m. wedding. In keeping with tradition Winnie was not allowed to see Criss 24 hours before the wedding, so she and Arista were bunking with Lindsay. By this time Arista was already asleep so the Bride and her Made of Honor were talking about tomorrow.

Lindsay walked in from the bathroom, "I hope George knows how to dance".

"Wait a minuet you told me that you and him danced at Body English".

"Let me rephrase that. I hope he can dance better then whatever he did at Body English".

"You never told me it was that bad".

"It was like he was trying to start a lawn mower. It was cute there, but at a wedding it would be an embarrassment".

"Oh he wouldn't be the only embarrassing one there".

"What do you mean?"

"I love Criss with all of my heart, but that boy ain't Lord of the Dance".

"They taught each other bad habits".

"I don't know what it is because his brothers and his mom are good dancers".

"Let's hope Arista didn't inherit his dancing skills".

"Don't even joke about that".

Lindsay laughed a little then got serious, "You nervous?"

"A little I mean marriage is a big move, but I know he loves me so that makes me feel better".

"It's pretty late we should be getting to sleep. You have a big day tomorrow". They crawled into bed so that they could get up and have time to get ready for the next day.

Criss woke up early the next day and thought to himself, I'm getting married today. He took his shower and headed over to JD's so that he could look over the décor for the reception like he and Winnie agreed. When he walked in he saw living room decorated the way that it had always been which was the plan considering the fact that they had decided to have the reception in the backyard. He found Little Dimitra, Lynn, and JD putting on some last minuet touches.

When JD saw Criss he ran over, "So what do you think?"

"She'll love it", Criss said somberly.

"What's wrong little brother?"

"I just wish dad could be here".

"He is as long as he's in your heart".

"Yeah, wish Arista could have met him".

"He would have adored her".

"Yeah. So, is Sully getting the tuxes?"

"Only after he decorates the limo, let's hope he does it to Winnie's standards. Wouldn't want the Bride going off on the Best man now would we".

"No we wouldn't. Hey you and Costa understand why I chose him and not either of you, right?"

"Yeah, I mean you said that you didn't want to have to choose between us. Besides, it's kind of weird if you have a sibling as a best man".

"I suppose".

"Well we and better get going so that we can get ready, and not have a Bridezilla on our hands".

"Speaking of Winnie what time are those two going to start getting ready?"

"Let me ask. Sweetheart when are you meeting the girls?"

Lynn hollered, "At twelve, Winnie has to pick up Jenni from the airport then we are meeting at the place to get our manicures and pedicures".

"Well then you guys had better leave now it's almost twelve".

"Oh crap if we aren't there we might see fire shoot from her nostrils", Lynn said as she grabbed Dimitra's arm and ran past the guys.

"I heard that. Bye Lynn Bye Dimitra".

"We will see you girls at the wedding", JD waved as the girls disappeared behind the front gate. The guys stood there for a moment when Criss grabbed JD's arm, "We have to get ready".

"Oh yeah", the guys ran to Criss' car and drove back to The Luxor.

Winnie was so relaxed, this was her first pedicure and she was mesmerized at how wonderful it was. Dimitra, Little Dimitra, Lynn, Lindsay, Jenni, and Arista were all there. She could hear Arista giggle as the pedicurist was taking care of her ticklish feet. All of the girls were getting typical French tips on both there feet and hands. When it was all over it was 2:30 meaning that they had about an hour and a half until their hair appointments, and then it was off to Criss' Black room to get ready.
