Dru and I have noticed that we seem to have somewhat of an overflow of random topics that don't garner many replies, so we decided to make an official random thread. If you have a random thought, comment, etc. (one that isn't intended to be a major thread, like...oh, the Mrazness one
 ), post here instead. This should help cut back on clutter.  Thanks! |

k, something totally off topic here, but i wasn't gonna start a whole new thread...
I think I've come to a wise and mature decision about my long lost friend... I think things would have been better left alone... I should have never looked him up, and I think it's time to just let go of the friendship... If I let things continue, it stands to cause way more heartache for a lot of people, and I don't feel right about it... I got his wedding invite in the mail today, and I think I'm gonna check the "will not attend" box... He's happy. He's starting a new life. One that will be better for everyone involved, if I'm not a part of it... I think this is the hardest decision I have ever had to make in my life... And the weird thing is: I know it's the right thing to do. So why does it hurt so much?  Drunk and I'm feeling down And I just wanna be alone I'm pissed cause you came around Why don't you just go home Cause you channel all your pain And I can't help to fix myself Your making me insane All I can say is I tear my heart open, I sow myself shut My weakness is that I care too much My scars remind me that the past is real I tear my heart open just to feel ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Aww Rose,if that is what will make your life(and your heart)easier than maybe it is best. My Mom loved Vince Gill,it kind of reminds me of his song"There's No Future in the Past" sorry if that sounds dumb. Gosh,Mother's Day is so bittersweet for me. I soo miss my Mom!

here's my random thought for the evening..... I wish I was rich so I didn't have to go to my stupid job and talk to stupid people all night. But since, I'm not rich......I'm off to work.

MP, I'm with you there. I hate my job. I like the work but I hate the job. My boyfriend will be getting promoted around July and if he gets the raise we think he's going to get then I can work part time and go back to school for something else. I don't know. There are other options. ::::: sigh :::::

I would love to go back to school and get a degree in Comparative Religion....but sadly I lack the funds....but I can read....and have been doing some research on my own. I love libraries...you walk in and you get books.....it's like Heaven!!!

Yes....aren't libraries the best places in the world? What kinds of books do you read?...besides religion oriented books. I love mysteries and biographies. I read about 100 books a year. I love love love to read.
