Remember that large banners should be NO BIGGER THAN 500x200 pixels. This is non-negotiable.
600x150 banners are NOT ALLOWED. 600x100 banners ARE NOT ALLOWED!
Examples of good and bad banners
GOOD BANNERS:
Follows the rules by being no more 500 pixels wide.
Is only 456x200 pixels. Perfectly within the limit!
BAD BANNERS:
This banner is 539x310 pixels. Thats 39 pixels over the width limit and 110 pixels over the height limit.
This one is 600x300 pixels. While amusing, its 100 pixels over BOTH size limits.
On a related note: if one of YOUR banners was used as a BAD EXAMPLE, thats a sign to change your sig
