Chapter 48 (Freak out) Winnie was pacing in the back room chanting, "What am I doing?" Lindsay walked back in and grabbed Winnie by the shoulders, "Ellie May what's wrong?" "I don't know how to be a wife". "Oh Winnie it's going to be fine". "How do you know? I mean it's not like when things go wrong while you're dating. You can't just break up". "Look at me. I have never seen to people who were more right for each other, and the fact that he never gave up looking for you means that you two have what it takes to make it". Criss' fears had been realized and he knew it. Winnie was reconsidering getting married and he was scared that she might decide not to.

Happy fourth of July
Chapter 49 (Vows) The guests were starting to get anxious and Criss was growing even more stressed out when he saw Lindsay once again ran out and give the thumbs up. The wedding march started up as Winnie and Lindsay walked gracefully down the isle. Criss was in awe of the dress that Winnie was wearing. A smile came across his face as he met them at the top of the stairs, took Winnies hand, and walked her to the Priest. When it was time to recite the vows the Bride and Groom decided to speak from the heart and turned towards each other. Criss spoke first, "The night that we met I couldn't get you out on my mind, it was the first time that I couldn't wait until a first date. When I saw you dance for the first time I was mesmerized by the passion that I saw on your face. I knew that you were my reason to be the person that I am today. You kept me believing in myself, you made me believe that I could have all that I wanted. And now here I am today with the show of my dreams, the only thing I want in my life right now is you and that's the only thing missing". Winnie started to cry, "Give me a moment people". The guests laughed though their own tears. Winnie looked up at Criss, "When I saw you in the diner that day, I was terrified. I thought that you were mad at me for leaving you. I also didn't think that you would react well to the daughter that you didn't know you had. I was far from being right. When I ran from you the first time I ran out of fear. A fear that was unjustified you came back to me and that proved something to me. It proved that you really wanted me. I had never realized just how much you loved me until you showed me your willingness to forgive me for running. Last night I laid awake wondering if I was really good enough for you, or if I really deserved you and just now I was reminded of how you make me feel. And how being around you has turned me from a sad lost country girl into the strong woman that I am today and for that I thank you". Criss smiled with tears streaming down his face, "You're welcome". Everyone laughed including Winnie. The wedding rings were exchanged and Priest said, "You may now kiss the Bride". And Kiss her Criss did. He dipped her and when she came up she smiled while biting her lower lip and giggling. The guests were in shock. Criss didn't think that anyone should be surprised at least not with the way that he is. After they were pronounced husband and wife they excited the theater.

Chapter 50 (The reception)
The guests arrived at JD's house and waited for the wedding party to arrive. When they did flashes from the cameras that were sitting on the tables greeted them. They greeted their guests just as the DJ announced that it was time for the Bride and Grooms first dance. Winnie didn't know what to choose and her plate was full so she left the song for their first dance as husband and wife (along with their honeymoon… they were going to Hawaii) up to Criss. She was just praying that it wouldn't be something like the MindFreak theme song. They took to that dance floor just as the song started to play.
